Magic Lantern Projector

sprucetuck:

What an adventure, I must say! I love Tracy J. Butler’s work in Lackadaisy very much. I have the first volume, the club pin, the mouse-pad, the calendar, and THESE AWESOME POSTERS! I got the posters a month or two ago, and decided to finally frame them to hang on my wall! Well…I didn’t realize they all came with slight differences in height and width, so imagine my surprise when I only measured Viktor’s poster for the frames. So as you can see, Victor and Rocky are really the only ones suitably framed…because Mordecai was a bit too tall and too skinny, but I love these posters so I made them awesome. And unfortunately Zib can only be described as “Jazz” not “Hot Jazz”…lol! And don’t get me started on how uneven my frame hanging skills are!

I love this series, I love these posters, and they will remain on my wall no matter where I live! Thank you Tracy! Hope you have a Happy New Year!

Aww, thanks!  Happy new year to you too.
Sorry about the varying image sizes.  I tend not to give practical frame dimensions much thought when I start a painting - the art sort of just ends up being whatever size it wants to be.  If there’s anyone who’d take his portrait cropping in stride, though, it’s Zib.  It’s all copacetic.
