langistudios: Warm-up Sketches of the Lackadaisy Kind. I started drawing Lackadaisy’s Ivy Pepper from memory (top right), then I slapped myself and said, “Peta-Ann Smith! You know damn well that your memory’s rusty as hell! Bring up references, woman!”, which led to Ivy leaning up against the ugliest tree in the history of nature (far right). Not wanting to leave a black space, I popped in a quick sketch of Mordecai for good measure *bottom left). Hokay, work time! Aww - these are great!  Thank you for sharing!
